The Richmond Kajaks Track and Field Club is both a recreational and high performance level club based in Richmond, BC, Canada with over 200 members—ranging from elementary school athletes to masters (35+ years) athletes. Click here to read our Vision Statement.

June 30/08: Kajaks athletes have had some excellent results in the recent Kajaks International and Harry Jerome meets. Graeme Wells put in some very fast times, winning the 800m Invitational at the Kajaks meet in 1:48.63 and running the 1500m in 3:39.02 coming in 7th place (and incidentally breaking the Kajaks club record).

Ryan Hayden has been in action recently in the Timex Road Series, winning the Sandcastle City 10k in 30:30 (June 8th) and the Longest Day 5k race (June 13th) in 14.52.6. Earlier in the season, he finished 3rd in the Vancouver Sun Run. Other Kajaks athletes taking part in the Series are Rachel Ruus who was the 2nd Female finisher in the Sandcastle 10k; Steve Hosford (M55) first in his category also at the Sandcastle race; and Daniel Ribi, 3rd Under16 at the Longest Day 5k race.
